well the guy just delivered my newest addition to the family.. And I have been waiting for over a month to see it in my driveway . found this will I was buying another car that was on racingjunk.com and this was around back under a tarp . the guy said he had started it ,was getting ready to paint and someone stole all the parts that were not bolted to it . lost interest and there it sat just a bad reminder . asked the guy how much it would take to remove it from his site ? and he said 800.00

it is setup for a 460 came with engine plates (both) all after market front end
parts adlust. coil overs all new .I am hell bent on having it ready by spring

Do you think it was a good deal ??

wheels and tires and rear did not come with the car

All the chassis parts is probably worth $800. My dad bought a body (just the shell) from a guy a long time ago for $50. SO it looks like you are well ahead of the game for only $800.00. Good luck with getting it ready by spring.

Also what are you planning on running in it?

Hell yeah! Great deal! I don't think you could build that for $800 the way it sits. Looks like it will be a fun drag car!

Dont you just love new toys :) Looks like a great deal especially for the price.

Now as to getting it done by spring, your going to have to quit getting on the forum and spend your time in the shop to do it, can you go through the pain of forumitis :hmmm: I will be facing the same thing as soon as I get my new toy. Good luck on it Raymond :thumbs2:

BTW it would look very good in yellow

That was a great deal :thumbs2:

It would cost you a whole lot more than 800 bucks to get it to this point. With some cleaning and sanding you could make it look brand new. :dancing:
