If he does or it happens to be you. Your car got me into mavericks. I was curious because the first time i ever saw one in town i went on youtube and looked them up and this car made up my mind. I wanted one. So who is it?
when i first seen my maverick forsale in the paper, i had never heard of of a ford maverick so i looked up 1976 maverick on yahoo images and a bunch of pics of dan's stallion came up. thats when i kne i had to go make the buy that sound like a bad ass car in the vid!

I doubt it was exactly the same....he had a stroker kit, better heads, bigger cam, better exhaust..... Just being honest..... I'm sure your car sounded great though:Handshake

'Glad to know that my ride had a part in inspiring you to get a Maverick, Chinguschild. Me and that Maverick had a tumultuous relationship until it finally got running right (converting to EFI wasn't as easy as I thought it'd be). Actually, I'm a little embarrassed of that vid. The car wasn't running nearly as good as it does now. There was still lots of money and tinkering to go when that vid was made. I've loaned the car to my brother (in Louisiana) who will be racing it this year. I hope to have videos of it at the track soon. Thanks for the comments, guys. Take care, Rick
