    i just wanted to know if a 72 door would fit in my 77 maverick?? i would really appretiate your help. Thanks

    The door will fit on the car, but the interior door handle, arm rest and door panel will be different.

    1972 Maverick Grabber - Color: Orange Also, 1976 Ford Maverick 4-door, 1977 Mercury Comet 2-door.
    Plus, a 1977 door is smooth on the inside metal.....where a 1972 has a textured metal.

    so you all think that i have to look for a 77 door instead?? what about the front windshield?? would it fit?

    1972 Maverick Grabber - Color: Orange Also, 1976 Ford Maverick 4-door, 1977 Mercury Comet 2-door.
    1974 and up doors will have all the hardware in the correct spots for your 1977. The smooth interior metal on the doors started sometime in the 1976 model year.
