i have a 74 maverick which had an incline 6 cylinder but i replaced it with a 302 which came out of a 94 crown victoria. the problem is the exhaust manifolds from the 94 crown victoria 302 won't fit inside the maverick. i've tried notching the shock tower but they just extend out too far. what other modification can i do in order to make the crown victoria 302 manifolds work, or what other exhaust manifolds might fit(ex. 70-72 maverick with an original 302 engine maybe?)

Why not buy a set of mav manifolds? Or, maybe someone will chime in that knows, but i bet some other cars had the same manifolds.

You just need a good set of v8 Maverick manifolds. I have a set if you need them. You can email me direct if interested.

any 71-77 maverick 302 manifolds will work. you can find used ones easily (as Ray mentioned he has some) or just buy a set of headers from Summit (ie. Summit brand, Hooker 6901's or Heddman brand)
