    Is anyone running:

An Edelbrock 1405/6 carb with the
    Factory V8 throttle cable, with a C4?

If yes, what did you do with the kickdown to the tranny?

I ordered the adapter, but the geometry doesn't work for me.

    Thanks,

    Seth

I currently have the 1405 on mine. Using the stock throttle cable and using a lokar kick down cable. Works great no problem at all.

Dunno about the E'brock but there is same issue when switching to Holley... I spent a couple hours "altering" the bend angles in my kickdown rod to make it work with Holley's adapter...

I seem to recall having to alter my gas cable bracket. Here are some pictures.
