As some may have noticed, I'm building up a 5.0 to go in my Maverick. Some may also remember I have the little '75 Fiat Spider with the 302 in it with Edelbrock heads. I'm at the point where I think I'm just going to slap some stock heads on the Fiat and put another stock rearend under it and sell it. I got the entire car for what the heads on it would cost, had plenty of fun with it, but I'm at the point where I just don't have any use for that car, nor the time or money to put into it to do it right. I'd rather build a Maverick with that time and money.

Anyway, the heads are Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum heads with 2.02/1.60 stainless valves, they have about 6,000 miles on them. I'm building up a 5.0 that will probably end up being 30 over with a B-303 cam and '94 Cobra upper and lower intake (EFI). Compression will be kept reasonable so it can run on 87. You guys think those heads would be "to much" for that build? I was thinking I could probably sell them for enough to buy the Cobra upper and lower and a good set of GT40 heads.

Awesome. I just won a GT40 lower intake on ebay for only $53! Going to go ahead and work on porting that a little when I get it. Now to find an upper. See plenty of reproduction uppers, but I like the top plate on the originals better, so I'm going to hold out for one of those.

If I were going to sell the fiat I would pull the whole engine and stick a stock 302 back in it
