i have a i6 car....can i use the frame mounts in the car with the autokrafters engine mount (92220&92221) for v8 engine?
You have to get v8 frame mounts and v8 engine mounts to go on top of those. The engine mounts are available at your local parts store for not much money... 10-15 bux each. The frame mounts are available from AK, but are very expensive... 100 bux or more for a set. If you have some patience, they show up on the site here for less than half that pretty regularly. There are some early frame stands from other Fords that will work too. HOWEVER, the engine mounts are unique to Mavericks and do not interchange.
I am in the same boat with you but I ran out of patience waiting to find a cheaper set. I bit the bullet and bought the frame and engine mounts for $153 US. They are from Auto Krafters from their E-bay store. Plus the $40 buck shipping. If you can wait it out more power to ya.
Good info!:Handshake I knew there was someone with them for right at 100 bux. A penny more is just robbery! The last 3 or 4 pair that have come up on the forum here have been 40-50 bux. But you have to have patience to save that 50 bux.
