Is anyone out there using a radiator fan shroud? If so any aftermarket ones out there that are any good and not too expensive? I'm trying to get my Maverick to run a little cooler and the Maverick I took the V8 out of didn't have one.So...any thoughts?

Beg, borrow or buy one! they are really necessary on the V8 cars when idling in traffic.

I just bought a used one for my car. I am going to put it on my next off days, it has got to help, my car in traffic will get hot on these 90 degree days.

    Hey Kris,

Check out autokrafters.com. It's been awhile since I've looked but I'm 99% positive they have the aftermarket fan shroud your looking for (y)

Not all of 'em. Mine never runs hot, even idling in traffic on 95 degree days. I am running a factory Ford flex fan without a shroud. I will probably need to add one when I get the AC system on it. But for now, it never gets above 190 degrees....

    Fan Shroud

I had the same setup as I see in ur gallery frm last year. I had the flex fan, stock rad and fac fan shroud. My car ran hot, hot in my view was when it
wud go to 230'. It only got there when idling long periods in hot wx.
I replaced all that stuff w/ alum rad and elec. fan; the most I've seen now is 210. I plan on reinstall AC nx yr also.
