This past Saturday, we met up with Jeff (72true62D) at the 13th annual Fantasy of Flight combination car & air show in Polk City, FL and it was a big hit! Roughly 500 cars and numerous vintage WW-II aircraft buzzing over our heads all day long. Definitely will make this a regular on our show circuit! Holly & Rocky
Glad to see you had a good time at the show. Told you that you would. Been there several times in the past and always had a good time. Too bad I had to work that day. It has become one of the better shows to attend. You cars look great. See any of my Cougar buddies there? What was your favorite car?? Jim
Yo, CoutangMan... yes we spotted a Cougar pulling in the gates, but it was unfortunate that Jeff, the bud we met there, his blue Mav Grabber was in the way and all we could see was the Cougar's tail lights and lost it in the dust. Jeff's been there 4 years and always by himself... this is the first year there was 2 of us in 500 Fords (99.9% Mustangs)! There were some nice Falcons, Fairlanes, and some Torinos, older Mustangs that we recall... when we took the blinders off of all the newer Ponies in there... love the old ones, newer ones just get lost in the blur. Nice older Ford trucks, too... we're hoping to debute a project in the works that way down the road, we'll see. All in all, it's a must see if anyone's down here during that time... maybe a mini-meet in the works for next year, who knows?:bananaman Let's have a showing, Mavs & Comets! Rocky & Holly
