I'm looking into putting some more glass on the Firebreather and was wondering what companies you guys had good or bad luck with. Looking for cowl hood and bumpers. My car has glass doors that fit good, but I don't know who made them. Any help would be great.

i've got a hood from us body that i'm pretty happy with. i've heard of others that didn't like the quality of their hoods. i've heard of lots of people that don't like unlimited. also heard from a few that did like them. so i guess you have to try them for yourself. one of the biggest problem is the shipping costs a lot unless you can go to the factory and pick it up. i don't know of anyone in the phoenix area with a maverick that uses fiberglass parts other than a hood.:)

Would you mind if I came down to look at yours before I shell out the money on a hood? This weekend would be good if it is ok with you. Next weekend I am going to Fontana for the psca race.

I have bumpers from VFN fiberglass......they are very nice! no work needed on them straight out of the box, they cost a bit more than the others but I think it was worth it for the quality.

I bought a spoiler from Unlimited today. Takes 3 to 5 weeks to be made. Shipping is crazy high, so I'm going to pick it up and save some $$. I'm going to check out the factory and products while I'm there and if everythign looks good and the spoiler is good, I may buy other parts in the future.

Make sure it is done before you go get it.
Mine was going to take 6-8 weeks from time I ordered it, ended up being over 3 months. Now granted they were in the middle of moving to a new building and they were running behind, but they should have said that, then after that long wait to recieve a hood that was horrible quality.....they will never get my business again.
Customer Service was very rude......anywho! the only thing Unlimited about them is the time it might take to get your part and the Unlimited amount of trimming, sanding and work you might have to do to get it correct enough to put on your car....IMO.

Whatever you do, stay away from that company in Canada. Can't remember their name, trying to forget. Nothing but bad business. They will quickly cash your check, then after a while, when you finally start wondering where your stuff is and call them, "Oh, yeah...eh? We are out of stock and don't plan on making any more. But, we will keep your money and you can use it toward your next purchase...eh?"

    Keep Away!
