I just received my new-to-me Maverick. It is a '72 2-door with factory 302, C-4, air (non-working) and power steering. The headliner is coming down but the previous owner bought a new one and new glass gaskets to install it. It has Boyd Coddington wheels, a Grabber hood and a same color repaint in it's past. This will be my fourth Maverick in my 56 years but this one is a keeper. Recognizing that this thread is useless without pictures, I'll try to upload some as soon as I can understand the instructions Stefan sent me - I'm not computer literate!

    Thanks everyone!
"that car has Cali plates...your in IN?"
Yup! Had it transported to Lafayette from Inyokern, CA which is roughly 2 1/2 hours northeast of LA. There is some rust where the fenders meet the inner fenders, a few bubbles under the paint in a few places but the floor boards and trunk are in very good shape. The hood has some minor rust on the front edge but nothing like what I've seen others here have to deal with.

Thanks! It will be around for a very long time as I morph it into what I've always wanted in a Maverick.
