Hey! I was there... via satellite telephone communications anyway (thanks to Frank). Looks like it was great weather - and the scenery is very nice - especially in that last picture (no, not your car, Frank ).
Frank, was that a picture of the "hootus" mentioned in an earlier thread? Did Effie take picture or was she somewhere else? Frank called me and said that if I had a Maverick I could come.
great to meet you frank and effie. frank forgot to give details of our meet. the host club arranged to give us our own catagory because we had so many show up. very nice of them. we had five cars total. ken (part-time) won 1st. me (j miller) won 2nd, my first award btw, richard (draggon13) won 3rd, frank suprised every one when he popped in and fred brought his daughters (hottie2) car since she was unable to make it. the weather was perfect and we had a great time comparing notes. draggon even educated us on a never before seen option on the mav. you could have ordered a ski rack! don't laugh it was on the factory order form. the next one will probably be in orlando so i can reach the south fla guys. more pics follow. and yes effie was there for the pics with the local scenery. she had a good laugh.
