floor panels

    hey guys!!!! sorry its been so long since i have been on. been busier than a one legged man in a butt kicking contest. well anyway the real reason for this thread. my floor panels are no more on my 73 grabber. is there any places i can get new floor panels. any one have any idea if there are any floor panel models that can be used and fit well in the maverick like maybe a mustang floor panels. thanks guys!! i'll be logging on more frequently soon. :p

    Nope you will have to make your own or find a good donor car to cut them out.

    I doubt that you'll find anyone with a nice Mav with good floor pans who would be willing to cut them up, with the possible exception being in the case of a wreck.

    My advice to you would be to repair yours using flat sheet metal. I don't know what your skill level is, but it's not a particularly difficult repair. You can use a mig welder to weld in the new patch panels, or if you don't weld, you can use seam-sealer and pop-rivets to make an effective and lasting repair. This job can be acomplished in an afternoon with the right tools, or any competent bodyshop should be able to take care of it for you. Hope this helps.
