I have a coolant leak and as of now don't know if it's my rebuilt/reman coolant pump, radiator or something else on the underside of the car. Since I am not using the car for general transportation, it's been to cold to be laying on the ground for an inspection. Anyway, my guess is water pump; if that's the case I will be going to a NEW unit from www.FlowKooler.com. If anyone has any ideas/comments or suggestions on this companies products , customer service or anything else - feel free to chime in. I am trying to decide if I should go w/ a cast iron or alum. unit -- any ideas -- chime in.
I've had a flowkooler pump on my Mustang for about 5 years, and 50k miles. Never had to test the warranty or customer service, so can't help there.
You have CI or aluminum pump? I think I will be going alum if I find the pump is leaking. Thanks for the response!
