flushing transmission lines

    guys im putting my maverick together and im using a different c-4 i need to know do i need to flusk the fluid lines from the tranny -raditor ? if so what can i get to do so and where can i get it?thanx

    I don't know but why do you want to flush them? Have they been sitting a long time?

    i just flushed my cooler and lines. i used a can of...cooler flush...i got it at a transmission parts supply house. it comes with a hookup for the line and you just push the button.

    you can get the trans cooler flush from your local parts store

    There is a good reason to flush the lines and cooler: The cooler collects stuff from the transmission and it gets carried back into the transmission through the lines.
    With a new transmission you don't need to have that crap messing it up.

    I never knew that, I didn't know they made something especially for that either, good info!
