ok, i not say Frances caused anything close to as much damage as it did to alot of people. but it did have its effect on my comet. we had a good 2 day rain here in Cobb County GA. and on the first day i went out and seen a trickle of water going down the driver side floor board.so i put a rubber mat over the cowls. the next day a huge puddle. getting the water out was not a big deal.the big deal is that the dome light didnt come on. NO POWER AT ALL. ya i was mad. disconneted the battery and grabbed a test light and its fine. anyone know what it could be? and the scary thing is there was water on the fuse box.
any way to fix the cowls with out the windsheld coming out. i not living in a place that the neighbors wouldnt mind. i need some help with this.

If the cowl is rusted and leaking because of that, the fix is a bit extensive. The windshield removal is almost the least of the fix. My advice is to contact MavMark as he did this to his car and has a pictorial record of the repairs. He might have it posted on his website (maverickcomet.com). His cowl was a mess and he did a phenominal job repairing it with the help of his dad, as well as on the entire rest of the car.
