This has probably been hit on a lot in the past, but...
What is a good and not big $$$$$ kit to switch out for the front drums to disc kit. I have a '71 Maverick with a 200 inline 6.
And, maybe a dumb question...Do I have to switch out the rear end of the car to get 5 lug for the rear? Or, is there a kit specifically for the rear for that also?
I'm learning along the way, so I don't know all the little ins and outs.
    thanks ahead of time!
    This is my baby!

There are a few ways to make this upgrade. Some use Ford Granada parts some go the aftermarket route. Many times someone on the forum may have what u need -- might want to post in the "wanted section" and see what turns up. http://www.discbrakeswap.com/
I believe the rear axle housing has to be changed to go to 5 lug setup. Do a search on these subjects, lots have done what ur inquiring bout.

That's a sweet looking car! I used the Granada/Maverick front spindles and a 74+ 5-lug rear end (housing and axles). The 4-lug rear housing uses smaller axle bearings, so your 5-lug axles will NOT slide into the 4-lug housing. The Bearing ID is also smaller on the 4-lug.

It's a common swap, tons of info on this site. Like Everett said, use the search function. Also have a look at the Tech Article section...

You can see what I did via the link in my signature at the bottom. Good Luck!
