fuel pump issues?

    Do the fuel pumps on the 250ci 6's have a lot to them? I know they are mechanical and mine seemed fine but will not pump any gas. Removed the tank and cleaned it and blew out the fuel lines. Nothing is clogging it. Do they need primed?

    Sometimes you need to spray some starting fluid or pour some gas in the carb to get fuel up to the bowl to get it pumping.

    I went through 3 fuel pumps in 2 months before I got a good one. Don't buy the cheap ones
