i just swapped in my 1991 5.0 EFI motor into my maverick was wondering what is the easiest fuel set up to use for a daily driver?

wanting to replace my 1971 maverick gas tank bc it was recently stolen......any suggestions from which car i can get a gas tank from with the least custom/modification work.

will a 1970 model gas tank work?

70 won't work, it's a drop in that bolts to the flange in the trunk. There is a write up for installing a 69 Mustang tank on this site. Do a search. There are some mods, but the benefits out weigh the problem of having to do a little fab work. JMHO

With EFI you need some way to keep fuel near the pick up under hard acceleration and cornering. I would add a sump or a baffle inside the tank to solve this problem since you have to come up with something anyway.
