Fuel Tanks

    Hello Everybody , If you are using a 75/77 tank in a early model car and you got a sending unit out of the junkyard from a 75/77 car would your gas gauge register correct? Being the new tank is bigger I would think the fuel pickup would be a little longer on the 75/77 sending unit. I think it should work unless I dont see the big picture. Come to think of it I havent seen the big picture in 50 years!

    :Welcome: interesting question never thought about it but don't see why it wouldn't read correctly. It only reads what it recieves from the sending unit.
