Fuel vapor valve

    Installing a newer gas tank in an older maverick. Could you put a short piece of gas line ( couple of feet) on the fuel vapor valve and use it for a vent instead of going all the way to the front of the car and using the cannister? Then you could do away with the metal line and the cannister altogether less clutter in engine bay and under car. I doubt many people use the cannister anyway now adays unless you live in Cailiforina.:hmmm:

    I have mine done that way. Seems fine.

    ...same here...i put a small inline filter on the end to keep out trash, bugs, etc., etc.
