    hehehe lucky you.
I had the same situation pretty often in my old 302 powered Courier.
I got away with more burnouts just because the Officer would say "you have what in this thing?

    I have a similiar story.
I was at a red light at 12:11 am. Here in jersey when your 17, you're license turns into nothing after midnight.
anyway, i called my friend who lived pretty far down the street and said tell me if you can hear this.
Then in my infinite 17 year old wisdom got on it, the tires did theyre thing and it made a lot of noise and so on went fast the whole deal.
I looked in my mirror and you know it.
    The cop was really cool.
He said nice car. Told me i coulda got like 12 points and tons of fines.
Then i got a 5 minute lecture on how i have to respect my car and a 40 dollar ticket for loud mufflers!!!
I got off incredibly easy. I was whiter than a ghost considering that if i get a moving violation, my dad takes the license and my car!!!

17 year olds beware, you will get caught.

Back in the days that we could cruz Van Nuys Blvd. (So.Cal.) without getting tickets for that, there was this guy in a cool '56 F100. He was going real slow and the cop behind him said over his P.A. "Get it on or get it over". So the guy lites-'em up and then pulled over. The cop just shrugged and let him go. After all he did what he was told to do.
