I'm about to start using my car a little more than I used to and I'd like it to get as good gas mileage as possible, anything you guys can suggest that I fix/replace, etc... to get better mileage would be appreciated.
rebuild the carb make sure the brakes arn`t rubbing keep the trash and junk that you don`t need out of the car that should help a little but it would be easier to tell ya if you said what engin and tranny you have oh yea most of all have a light right foot
Make sure your tire pressures are within spec. And along the lines of Elliot's remarks, a good tune-up will work wonders. Actually, constantly being conciensous of how hard you mash the pedal pays off (I did it ONCE in the 70's ... I think).
