I just found my gas tank has a hole in it.:( I knew it was leaking but someone had covered it with some weird loooking grey plastic thing. That stuff worked for a while but then that is when it started leaking. I took off the gray plastic stuff and found there was a hole in the tank. I thought about buying a mustang gas tank, but to do the conversion is hard because I have none of the tools. I was thinking of just fixing it with quiksteel but I want to see if anyone has any better advice. thanks alot!:tiphat:

get the 2 part tank repair stick. either loctite or permatex. grey & black stick. tear off what u need, knead the piece until well mixed and apply to hole. will even work if wet with gas.

I have used JB Weld with great success. Just clean the surface up with some 80 or 100 grit sand paper, mix up the epoxy, apply it, and let it sit over night.
