Gas Tank Shipping?

    1977 Maverick Drag car 399 engine,C4 trans,9"with 4.33 gear ET 10.25 @ 128 mph
    Who will ship a used gas tank and is there extra charges?
    I have 2 one like new with a 1/2 inch pickup the other with sump installed for an fittings...anyone interrested can pickup in Ottawa!

    I checked into this a few years ago.....USPS & UPS both said they would ship them but it would ship as a hazardous or flamable (I cannot remember which one) and it would encure X-tra charges.

    Check a small engine shop. They have a "oil" the put in small engine tanks to undo the flammable placards! Don't have to fill up, just flush with it.

    Or,,, flush out real well and triple bag it! Then don't list it as a gas tank. I didn't say that
