Lots of new members with mavs or looking to by(and comets too)
I guess it is time to sell the mav and get a pinto. T.L. are you with me:D
For the newbies thats a running inside joke here on Maverick.to about T.L. and pintos.

Anyway Kinda cool everybody is catching on to what I have always thought.
    which is
    MAVERICKS RULE:yippee:

An another note. I am running out of ideas to make my car different but not untasteful or to far fetched to be maverick like. You guys are stealing all the good ideas.

You guys rule but you suck too, every time I think I have a great idea one of you guys beat me to it.:banghead:

I still love you guys but could you slow down so I can catch up.
    Just some random thoughts tonight.

I wish we were all going to be there. Truth is only a very small percentage makes it.

On the note we all don't love in the same town. What if we did. We could call the nieghborhood Maverick Hills and have streets like HaleysComet Way, MaverickRunner Str etc........... COuld be done up like a huge ranch and we all parked our cars in the barn with individual stalls......ok so I have dreamed about this.........

    my dads comet

Jamie, That was a absolutely fantastic story.. Lets hope you find the car and resurect it to the way it was in 2002. Collect all the info and have a history book about your car. Again a fabulous story. This is the kind of stuff that holds families together, love it, RON  :bananaman

Ron, even if I found it, I would not have the money to buy it back for a very long time.

As it would turn out, someone that has visited this site has either seen the car and taken pics or owns the car now. My brother found pictures of it on the gallery on the front page! Those definately ain't no pictures we have laying around here, so SOMEONE else here has seen the car.

I really just want to keep track of the car.

Jamie; I have seen that car around Conyers, and not too long ago. Might take a look around that area. If I see it, I will let you know. BTW, get me yours and Tyler's address and phone, email, so I can update you on the mini-meet.

Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P

i have noticed the same thing... like every car show i go to at least one person tells me he just bought a maverick.. i'm like oh great :16suspect

i don't know if i like it, or feel like; great now, jump on the band wagon! ;)

yeah i must admit the fever is catching on. back in the mid 80's when i had my car who would have thought a maverick? then again some people still think that but it is catching on.

if mavericks ever become like a mustang (not that it ever will) think i'm seriously thinking about doing an old school import :49: yes you heard correct.. a 510 or 240 or corolla or something like that. and just to piss you guys off i'm gonna put a soup can muffer on it! :biglaugh:

the only think good think i see about a maverick becoming popular is that it might create more aftermarket parts for the car.
