    Hey everyone,
I am in the Coast Guard and i have a 1971 Mercury comet with stock 302 that i am about to rebuild, but have never rebuilt an engine before, so was looking on here for any tips or if anyone knows of a good step-by-step book that lays it out easily to understand. I am very mechanical incline and i know i can do anything needed on the engine, i have just never done a full rebuild before.

Thanks in advance for any help
