My glove box door was removed some 10 years ago .I've recently purchased a new one from Ebay.My problem now is I don't remember how it was attached. I went to screw it in but there were three openings for screws but no screw holes. I've gone blank;what were used to attached to the dash?

Should be a metal plate that runs side to side. The bottom of the plastic trim screws to it as well as the glove box door.

There should also be a hinge at the bottom of the door.
