i made a post last week about a blue '77 that i had bought. i took the today and went to Williamstown, Ky (about 1 1/2 hours from me) and picked it up. the car was everything i expected, and a little more. the car also came with the original owners manual, Bodyguard rust-proofing certificate from '77, original window sticker, starting instructions manual & more! this was a pretty nicely optioned car, too bad the rear frame rails are gone this would have been a great car to save but the dr side frame rail is already gone to where the leaf spring is hitting the trunk floor.... and the passenger side is almost there. the car had a strange bench seat interior :16suspect that i have never seen before, not even in pictures, but the window sticker explains alot. here's the info from the window sticker..... 1977 Maverick for $3,272 included: Maverick 2dr sedan /62A/ bright dark blue metallic /3G/ front disc brakes duraspark ignition color keyes cut pile carpeting lockable glove box flipper rear quarter windows bright drip rails bright wheel lip moldings and it had $1,394 worth of options that included: Limited edition package -special two spoke steering wheel -bodyside paint accent stripes -(4) styled steel wheels with trim rings -narrow vinyl insert body side molding -bright window and belt moldings -flight bench seat -dual sport mirrors Total package: $322, Discount -$145, Total $177 Blue vinyl roof $88 250 CID I-6 engine 1V $122 Select shift cruise-o-matic $258 C78x14 WSW bias tires $36 power steering $134 air conditioner - selectaire $449 AM radio $66 tinted glass $64 front license plate holder -NC- with everything this car has to offer, it's too bad the underside is already toast and more pictures...... http://s70.photobucket.com/albums/i82/mean_maverick/77 2dr/?start=all
Oh yea? Let my fat butt sit in 'em for a few minutes... They'll recline! Seriously, that is one clean looking car. It's almost worth the time & trouble of changing out the rear frame rails! I know if I had access to the old shop I used to work in, that puppy would be on the lift with the metal burning and the sparks flying! -Scott H.
me neither. not even in the gallery. and it's called a "flight bench seat" on the window sticker  so it's unique to say the least
keeping the center caps, wheels are sold, disc brakes are sold, sport mirrors are sold, rear end is sold, and im keeping the seats. everything else is for sale even has the 'FORD' blue floor mats in it
