I finally got my old tranny rebuilt at a local shop. They said it was a c5 to begin with so they changed the casing, put in the shift kit and manual valve body all new heavy duty internals and checked my B&M converter all for $900 out the door. Best deal I could find, plus thier local and gave me a 12,000 mile/12 month warrany! Makes a huge difference, the shifts are really firm. And I now understand what was said earlier about no band apply in 1st. Thanks for the info Dave(y)

This weekend I do the front disc conversion and swap my 4 lug rear out for a 5. Picked up a donor car for $350 (running motor) 74 Maverick with C4/302 and sold the motor the next day for $350. Here are some pics, not to good as the sun was going down. Potential? Next project:D
