Hey Just a quick question. I heard that There is a difference between a grabber door and a regular door. Is this true, and If so how? I need a drivers side door for my '71 grabber and was told there was a difference. So many peeps have e-mailed me about doors they had but don't know the difference themselves. If you could help me oout that would be great. Thanx Kenny

The only difference is the decal on the exterior of the door.

The only difference is where the inside door handle is located and thats a year thing, not a Grabber thing.

ok so your saying that all I need is a '71 door? Since the door handle is in a different spot will I have to drill holes for a new mount?

As long as you get an early door with the handle in the same location, you won't need to redrill anything.

Did the Grabbers come with sports mirrors as standard or were they a general Maverick option?

Yes, the sports mirrors were part of the Grabber package.

The only difference is the holes for the sport mirrors. if a standard maverick did'nt come with sport mirrors then it does'nt have them.
