Original Grabber hoods are made of steel.

Be very wary: I've seen "grabber" hoods (plain hood with the grabber decal on the center) listed for about $150. Sport grabber hoods (the ones with the scoops) usually run around $500 or so in good condition.

I almost got tricked into buying the plain hood with decal online, thinking i was getting the sport hood at a GREAT deal.
