Grabber Hoods

    What are the details pertaining to the Mav's that had a single, forward facing hood scoop?

    No Mavericks had thease. Only the Comet GTs had them.

    Mexican Mavericks had them as dealer add on option, they were the Cobra Jet style also the Comet GT style was available.

    As Far as U.S. maverick they never came with them like mentioned above.

    Comet........ I really like it. It also helps get some cooler air into the engine. I'm just not a Grabber hood fan. I think the Comet type scoop and flat hood suit the cars look and lines better than the Grabber hood. Of course most will disagree with me and thats cool. It doesnt matter. We are all different.

    I like them both ways, I have a Grabber hood and a flat hood. I could paint both when the time comes and flip-flop when I feel like a change!:biglaugh:

    The lines match up much better than the mustang one.
