Grand Theft Auto-Vice City

I don't know if this qualifies, but as I was playing GTA-VC last night, I got a good look at this car that I usually see driving around all over the place. And it looks almost identical to my 71 Grabber, minus the grabber hood! I don't know what they call it in the game, but that's that.

i just saw this post... i don't think anyone here plays PS2 or Xbox or even knows what GTA VC is.... every on here are old farts.. j/k.. i'm old too... i'm a kid at heart.

i'll check it out tomorrow night when i have some time to play it.

 

Well I got a PS2 but it has about 2 inches of dust on it I only play it when I don`t need to fix any thing mow grass or clean house wich isn`t too often . The next game I get will be "DRIVER 3" it looks like it will be a fun game I hope it will be better than "stunt man" thats just way too friggin hard to win .

Every one tells me there is a maverick in GTA-VC but any time I ever got to play it I couldn`t find it :confused: .

 

I've played it a ton. The car you're talking about is very similar to the Olds version of the Chevelle. Not sure what they called it, but its definitely got Chevelle-like lines, and the stripes (similar to grabber stripes) I've seen on the old Oldsmobiles. The front and back of the car aren't too maverick-like but I can see it in the side view.

 

My son has played it and he believes the name of the car is the. Sabre Turbo.

 

i've played just about all the driving games, gta vice city is one of the best, i could and have killed many hours driving around, i think the car your talking about looks more like the gm cars.. i did think it was funny that the hellicoppter is calld a maverick, the car they call a comet looks alot like a 80's porshe

 

Hey elliot, just to let you know, don't play Driv3r. I rented it not too long ago, and it really sucked. The driving is very unrealistic, and the on-foot controls are horrible. And yes, the car I was thinking of was called the Sabre Turbo. There's also just a Sabre in the game, which is a slower car. Anyways, just my .02

yeah all the driver ones are kinda suck.

if you like rice rockets and actually you don't even need to like rice rockets to like need for speed underground. is really good.

fast and the stupid i mean fast and the NOSSSS is comming out soon too. they shot the advertisement about 10 months ago in downtown LA and should be comming out with the game soon... supposed to be good stuff.

 

Try Burnout 3 for some fun. heh

 

I play and I am old ......I do not have the vice city or any of those games at the house......with my kids, its bad enough listing to them have their "bra & panties" match on their WWE game...... Funny listening to a 11 year old and a 6 year old talk about the match

I like all the ATV offroads, GT3 and Nascar 2005.....My 11 year old has got me playing Desert Storm 3 and NBA 2005....I think he likes me playing them cause he thinks he can beat me

 

Vice City has me wanting a bike... PEZ 600 or whatever the hell it is on there... go about 2 blocks from the rock band's place, there is a two story staircase... hit it with the bike maxed out...

I spend more time jumping over buildings with motorcycles and cars than I do beating missions. I beat a mission to unlock more areas on the map so I can jump more stuff.

Now if the horn only played Dixie...

 

I wish i had a way to play those games, but only game system i got is PC and gamecube

Hrm not 2 bad of a price... dont really want to spend it right now. Ive had a few games not work on this PC for some reason. Maybe I can borrow a copy and see if it'll install. If it'll do that, I'll buy it
