Well got a few things done on the Mav today:smash: I fixed my tranny leak (I hope) That guy that built my tranny no names necessary (cough nutt) didn't tighten the pan bolts:rolleyes: . I went to take them out and I could break them lose with just a socket and extention. While I was waiting for the tranny to drain I got my new Trick FLow alum extra quart pan ready and also cleaned up and polished my new scuff plates that I got from Ward.

I got them put in place and let me tell you they really look nice agaist the black. Great job Ward........(y)
I will post some pics once I get a chance to get the car cleaned up.

Thanks Neal, I knew that they would look awsome against black, first car I've seen them mounted in.

Take and paint the recessed area around the Maverick name. It will really make it stand out. I did mine in blue.

Mavaholic............I was kinda thinking of doing the same to mine, but I thought the only color to do it in would be black and I kinda thought it might be to much. What do you think

Hey Dennis could you post a pic of yours to give me an idea of what it will look like

I think they should be painted what ever body color you have on your sill. Its hard to get a decent picture because of flash reflection. Plus the color is always off with my camera. But you will get the idea. I painted mine with a modeler's brush. I like the color but I dont like the way the paint turned out. I"m going to strip it and spray it.

Hey Ward, do you have any more of the scuff plates? If so, bring them to the mini-meet on the 16th. Thanks,

    Earl
