Grill Lights

    1976 Ford Maverick, 1960 ford f 100
    Are the grill lights from a 1973 Comet the same as the ones on a 1971 Maverick Grabber. I bought a set in a junkyard today.

    Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the lights in the '71 were just parking lights only. The '73 should have turn signals built in. In any case, they will bolt in fine.

    Original 72 Sprint Owner, 71 Comet GT, 57 Ranchwagon, 57 4 dr Wagon
    The 71 lights were "Sport Lamps." Both running and turn signal filiments are wired as one so they are a tad brighter. Starting in 73 both were used independently. As Jamie said, they are bolt in and easliy adapted to use either way.
