Bought a 75 4 door, white with white vinyl roof, blue interior with bucket seats a few weeks ago. Haven't driven it much as I am keeping it at the previous owner's garage. He has room and isn't moving till summer. Hopefully, I will have another garage built by then. Car ran really good. Has a little vibration which I suspect is the universal joints. Only 45,600 miles so shouldn't be much except that. Body has very little rust and outside of cracks in the dashpad, the interior is flawless. It has the luxury decor option which really sets it off nice. Looks like a miniature Lincoln Town Car. Couldn't resist buying this one. Was driving home a few weeks ago, coming through a small town 10 miles from home when I saw this Mav sitting in a driveway. Come by there all the time and never saw it sitting there before. Slowed down to admire it and noticed it had a for sale sign in the window. My son doesn't believe that the sign said "buy me, Fred" but that is what I saw (I am known to halucinate at times). He had it reasonably priced so I just couldn't resist. His folks bought it brand new. Been garaged it's entire life. This is now the 3rd Maverick I own. Not really rich, just get good deals. Bought a 70 Grabber in July 70 and still have and drive it. Three years ago I bought a 77 2 door white with red vinyl roof with red interior with bench seat. I had it at the National Round Up last summer for those who remember. Now I have this 75. Have a total of $5,800 purchase price for all 3. Less than most people pay for one car. I plan to bring the "new" 75 to the Round Up in July. Hopefully I can get a driver for the 77 also so I can bring them both. The original 70 isn't ready for a trip like that. It's got 264,+++ miles. Runs ok but needs radiator, belts, hoses, etc. I just drive it locally. Sorry to ramble so long. Just getting some of my excitement out. Hope to see many of you at the Round Up.
I believe you when you say the sign said "Buy Me Fred". It has happened to all of us at least once if not more than that!
