Got my Stallion 30 years ago today, went out in the garage and drank a beer sitting beside it. I always do that on its bday. Would be interesting to know how many original owners are on here. Seems at the Roundup we seem to have 4 or 5. Getting ready to take the drivetrain out and detail it all, been 13 years since any of that done. Plus working on the model A and fixing rust on my old pickum up truck is keepin me busy. And add to that building a rotiisserie is keeping me in garage and off the puter it seems. Life is wonderful in the garage. I am now 48 years old,, wonder if I can be lucky enough to own the car another 30 years? Dan
That's awesome Dan!!!!!!! As to wether you can enjoy the car another 30 I sure hope so but if something were to happen I would like to toss my name in to the inheritance of such a fine maverick Edit Dude you have like 2800 plus posts. I think you haven't been in the garage enough and what the hell I just cracked opened a cold Coors Light to celebrate this greatest of ocassions:evilsmile
something about putting the laptop on the fender of a broken car, and asking for help........and GETTING IT!!! The Maverick Forum is GREAT!!!
Congrats Dan & Happy Birthday to your Stallion. I decided to celebrate your Stallion's Birthday also. Mike
What are you doing to with a chick magnet at 78? Happy Anniversary to the two of you and they said it wouldn't last.
Here's to Dan And his Stallion, . May you both have another 30 years together. Do you realize that you have been with your Stallion longer than most folks remain married? That's what I call devotion.
That is a very cool milestone - 30 years. I will help you celebrate I wish I had some of my cars and trucks from my "younger days". Sadly they are all junk by now. Only pictures and memories I'm afraid. Enjoy that next 30 years as much as the first 30 years! Eric J
Thats cool. Hope you enjoy another 30 years with it! I reckon me and my car are celebrateing about 7 months now. Man, it sure has been a bumpy 7 months.
Congrats on that! I think I've had my 72 Comet almost 5 years now. I hope someday I can say I've had mine 30 years.
