Happy Birthday, Corbin! I think I was 19 once upon a time. It was not as long ago when Frank (71gold) was 19, but it was awhile ago. I think Frank was 19 before Alaska was a state. Corbin, your future years are up to you and the decisions you make. Make the right ones.
Hey Guys! Thanks for the kind words! I spent the day today in Pleasanton at a Good Guys car show and swap meet. I had the pleasure of meeting our own HotRodBob and we talked Mavs for a while. Very nice guy! Unfortunatly I didn't come back with anything as there was mostly Chevy stuff, and the rest was, of course, not for Mavs. One thing of interest was a 72 Comet 2 door with a 6 and C4 for sale in the car corral. The guy wanted $1900, but it was too expensive for what it was, in the condition it was in - still cool to see it though. The rest of the show was old hot rods, so that was the only Mav/Comet item there. I just got back and will be having dinner and cake soon. Yum. So far, so good, as far as making decisions go. In two weeks I will be headed off to College at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, but my Mavericks will stay at home. Oh well, at least they will be safe there. I hope to check in frequently from down there, but probably not as frequently as before... Again, thanks for the kind wishes and I really appreciate it! -Corbin P.S. As far as Mav destroyer, I must clear my name and say that 90% of the parts will be used for other Mavs and I completely saved and found an owner for a 72 2 door Mav that was a few days from the crusher. 1 down to save numerous others and 1 saved completely; pretty good in my opinion..... I know you were kidding, Ward, don't worry, no offense, but I had to set the record straight.
