After time of waiting on my car we got it shipped and I picked it up today. :bouncy:

Frustrated that my new carbon fiber hood has a dent and slight crease in it from the air filter. (Free air filter - located in my trash can)

The engine now has an oil leak.

My father backed into his work bench and creased my rear quarter panel.

The top hinge plate for driver side door has soem rust that needs to be be replaced with new metal.

The engine bay needs somne TLC and the pillar on passanger side next to windshield has I think rust under the paint in one spot that will need some attention.

I hate the clutch cable as it sticks bad.

I have never been so happy and frustrated at the same time. :slap:

Now - I need a hot rod shop in Dayton Ohio to help plan the tear down and build up of the car.

It has been in Florida in a garage.

I took my time getting it here - cause now I have to spend money and start the tear down and build back.

Just take it one step at a time. Make a project of little projects. Once you have all the little projects done.....the car will be done.

It's a nice car. It was parked on my driveway one sunny afternoon. :thumbs2:

It is a fun drive - I have been cruising every night since I picked up the car.

Soon it will be time to tear down the car and send it off for media blasting and complete paint.

My uncle builds funny cars - might talk with him to help build the drive train. To cut the carbon fiber hood and install a blower - that is the question. (If I go blower I think automatic is needed)

Time to settle in to a 1 to 3 year project. Thankfully Craig lives near - I plan on bothering him with questions. :yup:
