I was looking at stripes at Graphic-Express, and this picture came up only for 71 Mavs. I was wondering if anyone had seen this on an actual Mav. It is very interesting how it goes up and over the trunk lid. Check it out. Here's a link as well: http://www.graphic-express.com/maverick.htm

I was sure I'd seen it on ebay also but couldn't find it when I did a search (on 'Maverick AND Comet').

    Was this really an option?

I guess it was an option. On the site they have stripe listings for Maverick Grabbers, and just Maverick. This is the Maverick one. Does anyone have this on their own car?

I remember bidding on a set two or so years ago on ebay, I was mad when I didn't get them and they only went for ten bucks, I think they look sweet!

they don't look so bad, I wouldn't mind seeing a set on an actual car.

Anyone feel like breaking out the ol' photochop?

You've got to be careful trusting sellers comments (Stallion) for instance. That was just a stripe Kit, and not a Stallion Decor. I wouldn't even call it a Clone.. Jan

Having talked to my father about this setup, He remembers a buddy had this same striping on an early Maverick 70-72. His buddy had the dealer install it in that time period.
