http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/70-7...ameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem#ebayphotohosting I certainly can't say that I have ever seen a Maverick with these stripes installed. Unless it just looks a lot different than the picture
Those look GOOD to me. I want to see a Comet or a Mav with them installed. Now...I approve of the front stripe. However. The rear/rocker stripe shouln't stop at the beltline. It should continue up and across the rear deck and meet the other side. Sweet. I'm going to Photoshop one.
PLEASE don't anyone take offense... 'Very interesting...but stupid' That was from Laugh in, not Hogans Hero's.
i doubt its a ford kit probably just a vintage aftermarket kit. theres probably a civic owner right now buying a stripe kit for his ricer that will never make it on his car and 30 years from now we'll see it on ebay.
I like the front C stripe idea. You just can't go wrong with flames or an American flag theme though. Red and white stripes with plenty of stars! Ooooh! An big ol metal flake paint like a Disco ball!
LOL...I think yall just like to butcher up Dans (Rick Books now) Maverick. That'll teach him to put a vinyl top on one.
Similar Move the rocker panel stripe and rear qtr stripe up to the mid body line............close? Seth
I'm with Seth ... that rocker stripe chops the car up too much. Make the midband stripe follow the crease in the body line all the way back and this kit would look OK. It would follow what is already there instead of fighting it. It would also mesh with the stripe running between the taillights. While I was at it I chopped off that barb in the hood stripe. Now the whole thing looks like '68 Torino GT stripes. I think I would like these better being white stripes on a darker or bright colored car, rather than dark stripes on a light car.
