How do women manage to dump me and rob me blind simultaneously?
That is why I have no money to fix my Mav this month!
How much compression can I run with water/methanol injection?
Is it safe for the street or a strip only proposition? The saleguy said I could run huge compression and be safe since it sprays at near vacuum.
Can I build a 13:1 comp. engine and run it on propane(110+ octane)?
Should I go with Total control upper & lower control arms or run a Mustang II style front suspension?
The drawbacks I heard about the Mustang II is not supported into the chassis and the redesigned TCP parts are very good. I plan on running a inline six so I don't care about cutting out the towers. Jack Clifford told me he was coming out with a aluminum hi-perf head for the 200-250 L6. I am going that route with fuel injection. I should be able get 250+ hp with that setup.
I will go with a fiberglass hood to get a 50/50 weight ratio. I want a great handling car with a good hp:weight ratio.
Any suggestions for the back-half? I am sure I'll keep the 8 in. I called Auburn and they have a trac-lok set and an aluminum carrier. Plus an aluminum driveshaft.
I am going to put in the T-5 with a hydraulic clutch kit and 3.55's out back.
Is lowering a Maverick, with the exception of lowering the upper control arm, worth it? I would think the reduction in travel would outweigh any benefit from lowering the car's roll center.
What type of rear set-up is the best? Trailing arm & Watt's linkage?
Does anybody know of any good suspension fabrication books? I have one but it is not very detailed.
Is a x-brace a good idea along with sub-frame connectors?
Is it possible to get down to 2500 lbs in a Maverick?

I believe you have the wording wrong here. Most likely they blind you, rob you, and then dump you. This happens because the male species of the human mammal has the propensity to think more with the brain between his legs than the brain between his ears when it comes to matters of the female species.

As far as your other questions, I'm not sure you need to do extensive chassis modifications for no more horsepower that you are planning. Just upgrade all the bushings, joints, etc., on the front end. Forget the back-half idea and use good ladder bars, traction bars, Cal-Tracs, or something similar to plant the rear end.
Before going to the expense of a fiberglass hood, mount the battery in the trunk - over the right rear tire for the weight ratio aspect.
I have no idea about your compression and fuel enhancement options. I'm not familiar with the ideas you posed. I'm not sure they necessary to get 250 HP out of 250 six.
Hopefully, all your questions will get answered. You WILL get varied opinions. Consider them, do your research, and build your car. Good Luck.:)
