After doing the shock tower mods I want to upgrade! Is there any easyfit 1 3/4 headers for a 302?
List any make and part# if possible!
    88300 Hedman 1 5/8 are on now

    Thanks
    Richard

There are guys here that have used Hooker 351w swap headers on 302s, and there is a big tube Crites header that has gotten high marks from a few here.

I am sure they will chime in, but those are the two options.
The Crites are easier to install from what I understand.

    Hooker 6208:

    Crites, PN unknown:

    Edit: Crites is $160 cheaper!
    Just noticed that.
The Hookers have gone up drastically.
They weren't that high last I looked.

Doug's has a step 1 3/4 to 2 1/8 listed on Jeg's #776-D669Y-R but I don't know if it would fit? Has anyone tried these?

    I believe those are Tri-Ys.
So you have 2 primary pipes going into one 2.125" pipe, then those 2 pipes go into your collector.

    I tried a set of 1.5 into 1.75 into 2.5 Tri-Ys on my 72. They were for a Mustang.
They didn't work on the driver's side.
My clutch linkage hit them and the pitman arm of the steering crushed one of the secondary pipes.

I'm curious, how big a motor do you need to run 1 3/4" headers? From what I've learned over the years, that would be huge for all but the biggest of small blocks.
