for headers did anyone need to pull the engine to put them on? and what type of headers do you have, where did you get them at? thanks

I always used Hooker headers in mine and never had problems with them. If I remember correctly I would take the motor mounts loose and lifft up the engine a little and slide them up and in. Mind you it's been over 10 years since the last time I did it so I could be a little foggy on the exact process.

Hooker 6901 fits real good. Right side goes in with no problems. Left side you need to jack the motor up a few inches to get them in. Dont spend the money on Hookers coating, Its not worth crap.

I have Hooker 6901's they fit great. I have the coated headers from Hooker and have not had any problems.
But I would recommend that if you want coated headers buy them directly from Jet-Hot, they sell new headers that they have coated for the same price.

I have never needed to jack the engine for any headers I have used, BUT the front of the car must be jacked very high.

If you have access to a lift, chances are you will not have to jack up the motor. If you dont, you probably will. Either way its a definate maybe.

Yes, it is a definate maybe. the 2 V8 mavs I have owned that I put headers on, both had to have the left mount undone and motor lifted a bit. 3 different types headers too.
