headers?

    what is the best bang for my buck? long tubes or shortys? i dont have $600 for some Doug Thorley . what other header or for a 77 maverick that fits well

    hooker 6901, hedman 88300 (i think) are said to have the best fit and i run the 6901's myself and was very pleased with the fitment..... and long tube vs' short tube is an age old debation and it pretty much boils down to personal preference, but i like long tubes.

    the only header issues you will have is if ur car is column shift, but other members have found ways around that.

    Hooker 6901 are best bang for buck IMO...
