The short answer is "YES". On dark nights, you will see lot clearer and further. I have them on my '73 Stang conv. Best low cost thing I have done. Jim
I use them and they are great. They put out a white light as opposed to the yellow light on the stockers.
I have them in my Jeep since it has the old sealed beams. We installed one silverstar and compared the light to the halogen. It makes the halogen look yellow. They work really well for the money and arent illegal or dangerous to other drivers like the aftermarket junk conversions.
They should be a big differance. I have xtra visions and there brighter then my later model stuff is.
You may want to consider doing the headlight relay upgrade. It will get full battery voltage to the lights which will really brighten things up.

Jamie; do you have the relay mod done on your car? With the relays and the silver stars, it works very well.
