Keep the headliner bows numbered, you have to put them back in the same place they came outta. Yes the glass has to come out, if you have never taken glass out, or installed, I would find someone who has experience to guide you thru this the first time. Getting the headliner smooth and tight takes some work and just requires some good patience. One thing for sure, everybody who does anything started it out doing it for the first time at one time. ...........did I just say that? I think I got some Yogi Bera karma goin on lol

I have done several Cougars and Mustangs and it is not that hard. It will greatly help to remove the glass. Best advice is GO SLOW AND KEEP YOUR HANDS CLEAN OF SEALER. If you do not want to remove the glass, I'd consider letting a trim shop do the work. Costs a lot, but no screw ups may be worth it in the long run.
