Well I finally got around to moving the switch from my NOS rear defogger from the center of the dash into the heater panel for a factory look. I moved the harness from the center to behind the heater panel and bolted in the NOS switch I got from Green Sales. After getting it all bolted up nice and tight I discovered that one of the pins located on the back of the panel was in a different spot from the original. The pin did not line up with the hole where the original pin went in. Since this was a hard to find NOS panel still in the box I did not want to just brake off the pin. I figured out where the new pin would wind up and simply drilled a new hole. As you can see in the pictures. The old pin was higher and off to the left slightly. The new pin was lower and more to the right. You can see in the pics the different pin locations. Just a heads up for anyone else doing this changeover. Nothing ever seems to go as planned with this car ! LOL :)

I have never noticed that before. Of course....I have not messed with a lot of the factory rear defrost assemblies (I think only one of my cars has ever had it). I will have to look now.
