i bought new 88300 hedman headers...the port width seems good but length is too long to seal nice on my world jr steel heads....by the looks of heads.....what head has a nice long flat surface to seal good ???
Mine seal just fine on my Canfield heads using Percy's aluminum gaskets. Bolted them up with a set of MrGasket aluminum gaskets last week but didn't get to run it long enough to tell, but judging from the flange impressions on those gaskets, they're fine too. Do those heads have raised ports ? or Std ? If std, and theyre contoured like stock heads on the outside, you may need to just take a grinder and chamfer the bottom of the flanges to mate against the heads
my crites 351 w headers sealed up ok...there ports are more square.....the dart jr heads are like 1 5/16 square ports but the lip is 1/4 " but then drops off
